This means that if you don’t live in Maastricht, you won’t be able to buy marijuana lawfully. Dealing on the street is prohibited and can get you in hot water. Selling, on the other hand, is a more serious violation. If you are successful in obtaining marijuana, you should avoid smoking in crowded areas. The most popular outside smoking spots are in the park or along the Maas river.
How to get weed in Maastricht
Because Maastricht has coffee shops, the best cannabis to get is from the businesses. You won’t be allowed to enter without a weed pass, but you may always ask someone. Many young individuals in Maastricht would be happy to buy some for you if you merely asked. Another option is to purchase marijuana from a drug dealer on the street. They frequently have lower-quality marijuana or simply sell you what they got at a greater price in a coffee shop. It is, however, illegal to sell marijuana on the street, and vendors cannot be trusted. Late at night, you can typically spot them along the bridges. They’re mainly Middle Eastern, and if you go past them, they’ll say “wiet.”
